Sebastian McLaughlin is an Artist from Donegal, Ireland.

He studied Fine Art in Ireland at G.M.I.T. and N.C.A.D., before emigrating to New York City in 2010. His works are among various private collectors around the world.

Sebastian's work is a mixture of painting and drawing, using figurative, portraits, landscape and cityscape as subjects matter. He creates work that is atmospherically sensitive, yet expressive in nature. His works are striking and engaging, provoking us to feel, and often reflect. He explore subjects through various mediums; pencil, charcoal, pastels, oil and acrylic paint. He likes to explore a range of subjects in his surroundings, life drawing and studing the human figure, while taking inspiration from artists like Hopper, Degas, Van Gogh, Egon Schiele, Alex Kanevsky, Daniel Pitin and Kim Cogan.
